Pieces of the Longwood Men’s Basketball schedule continue to leak out, this time from Rock Hill, SC. The Lancers will travel to Winthrop on Saturday February 9 to take on the Eagles. The Lancers and Eagles have an all-time series record of 1-1 but have not played each other since the 1985-86 where the Lancers won 67-58. The Eagles are coming off a 12-20 season that ended up in the firing of coach Randy Peele. Pat Kelsey a former Wake Forest and Xavier assistant takes over at the helm for the Eagles and has added the services of a couple junior college transfers.
