Longwood has released the full schedule for the 2012-13 Men’s Basketball season. The Lancers will play 13 home games, including a out of conference match ups versus Ivy League member Dartmouth and reigning MEAC champ Norfolk State. The Lancers also have a tough out of conference road slate as they’ll head to play likely NCAA tournament participants Creighton, Georgetown, VCU, and Arkansas.
The Lancers will begin Big South play on January 5 when the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will come to Farmville. Longwood will also host division rivals Liberty, Radford, VMI, High Point, and Campbell; as well as cross divisional opponents Charleston Southern and Presbyterian.
The excitement will build until the Lancers officially tip off their season in Huntington, West Virginia against Conference USA power Marshall!
