Details continue to leak out about Longwood’s 2012-13 Basketball Schedule. Yesterday Radford’s full schedule was released and the Lancers will take on their Big South divisional opponent twice. First the Lancers will head to Radford January 16. A month later the Highlanders will head to Farmville for a Saturday, February 16 match up. Longwood has not played the Highlanders since they visited Farmville in 2004, a 91-81 loss for the Lancers.

Longwood has also tacked on a leg to their December road trip where they’ll look for revenge against the Canisius Gold Griffins on December 19. Last year the Lancers lost a heart-breaker at home in a televised game against the Griffins 87-83.  So far the Canisius game is the beginning leg of three games in six days with trips to Buffalo, NY based school, Seton Hall, and then back to Richmond to face VCU.
